This ensemble specializes in the traditional music of the Arabian Gulf, offering an authentic and refined sonic experience deeply rooted in the region’s cultural heritage.
Gulf Culture
The group performs in traditional male Gulf attire—white thobe, ghutra (headscarf), and agal—projecting a sober and elegant image. Their artistic approach preserves the musical essence of countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, creating an atmosphere that transports audiences to the cultural heart of the Gulf.
Formation and Instrumentation
The ensemble is made up of musicians highly skilled in traditional Arabic instruments, combining technical precision with expressive sensitivity. Their instrumentation includes the Arabic oud, qanun, ney, oriental violin, cello, daf, and darbuka, producing a rich timbral palette where the depth of the cello dialogues with the expressiveness of the ney, while the oud and qanun provide the melodic foundation over masterfully executed traditional rhythms.
The group can adapt the number of musicians to suit any event, whether in theaters, cultural festivals, institutional ceremonies, private celebrations, or official functions.
